Victoria Beatty M.Ed., Esq.

Chief Executive Officer

Victoria Beatty, M.Ed., Esq. was born and raised in the City of Miami. She currently serves as MyG’s General Counsel. She is an Assistant Professor at Barry University School of Law where she teaches courses in Legal Writing and Race & Law.  Along with her role as Assistant Professor, Victoria is currently a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant for Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove. Prior to her career in education, Victoria served as a real estate litigation associate at nationwide law firms in Miami and Fort Lauderdale for thirteen years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Spelman College; earned her Juris Doctorate at Howard University School of Law; and, she received a Master’s in Education at the University of Miami with a specialty in student life and development. Victoria has been working with MyG since its inception in multiple roles, including pro bono attorney, teacher, mentor, and administrator. In her role as teacher, she wrote and taught a class entitled Freedom School, a course focused on the identity-development of Black children.
