Diane is a graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School and the University of Phoenix, with an AA degree in Health Care Management.
In 2014, she was instrumental in the conception and creation of Miami Youth Garden, Inc. (MyG) at Church of the Open Door and led the planting of its first community garden at that time. With very little knowledge of gardening in the beginning, she has mastered the science and art of planting with the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit. She especially enjoys helping provide fruits and vegetables for young people and their families.
As the Master Gardener, she has taught basic gardening skills to the campers in all our camp sites since MyG opened in 2014 and is currently the Site Director at our lead camp at Faith Community Baptist Church.
Diane is a native of Miami, Florida, and the mother of four children with seven grandchildren, and two great grand girls.
